FinancialForce Rebrands to Certinia – Bringing a Sense of Certainty

It’s always interesting to see companies rebrand and evolve their brand identity. FinancialForce, the platform for service businesses, has FinancialForce rebrands to Certinia. It reflect the company’s expansion and delivery of a comprehensive Services-as-a-Business (or SaaB) platform.

FinancialForce, according to Scott Brown, CEO of Certinia, was the right name when the company was launched in 2009 to describe its objective to supply ERP on Force.com. He also noted that the company has invested heavily to become the most trusted PSA solution on the market. With the acquisition of FP&A, the firm has expanded its ERP leadership. Certinia recently released new products in two other markets, Customer Success Cloud and Services CPQ. These, when combined, form a comprehensive and tightly integrated platform for service businesses. It was time to verify that their company’s name and brand were consistent with everything they did in the marketplace today.

Certinia’s Services-as-a-Business platform comprises solutions for Professional Services Automation or PSA, Services CPQ, Customer Success, ERP, and Financial Planning & Analysis. The platform enables businesses to deliver exceptional services. It helps to enhance the client experience, and accelerate growth by seamlessly linking all parts of service operations. It ranges from estimation through delivery, customer success management, and financial planning.

Certinia – Bringing Consistency to Services Businesses

The name Certinia definitely seems to convey a sense of confidence and reliability, which is important for any business. It sounds like FinancialForce is going to provide end-to-end solutions for services businesses, which is great.

Though, FinancialForce rebrands to Certinia sounds like a smart move. The new name certainly evokes a sense of confidence and reliability, which is exactly what services businesses need when it comes to managing their finances and operations.

We’re all curious to see how the rebranding will impact the company’s positioning in the market and its ability to connect data and processes. Congratulations to FinancialForce (or should I say Certinia?) on the rebranding–we’re excited to see what the future holds.
